Final Fantasy X X2 pc game Review

My sister loved this game, and introduced me to it growing up. Now that I’m older, and saw it on sale, I quickly bought it. I don’t regret this impulse buy in the slightest. In fact, I’m sure I would have bought this eventually, as it is easily on my top 5 favorite games I have ever played. Even as a person who has only played a few Final Fantasy titles, I jumped in with no problems. Even as a Kingdom Hearts fan since growing up, I was greeted with fun to go around, though the two games, (despite having Tidus, Wakka, Yuna, Rikku, and others in both) are very different. Long time fan, or newbies alike, this game is priced perfectly to allow people to experiment and decide if they like the game or not. I personally recommend this game to even those not interested in RPG games.

The gameplay stays true to the Final Fantasy RPG system. However, it introduces cool mechanics here and there to improve upon the “Ol’ Reliable” Turn-Based RPG formula. For instance, the member switch does not take a character’s turn away, making tactical choices easier to consider when up against tough enemies. Also, the weapons usually have unique designs, making it fun to take a chance on weapons that aren’t based on brute strength alone. Speaking of…

Stats, Parties, and Leveling up-

The level system isn’t actually a level system. Instead, you have the Sphere Grid. As weird as this sounds, it’s actually fantastic. You get Sphere points to move around the grid, and use spheres to unlock abilities and stat buffs. You have so much freedom in the grid, that if you work enough on a specific character, you can change their playstyle completely! You can change Tidus, a physical character, into a mage! It allows you to take full advantage of whatever weakness bonuses there are in-game.

There is an easy configuration menu that you can open when you select the game you want to play. The high and medium quality graphic settings are fantastic, but the low quality graphics still look great. And for someone like me who has a casual laptop, it runs near perfect on low quality, and still looks awesome!

My only issues with this game, are no notifications if equipping different gear will increase or decrease stats. That and Tidus’ voice actor….damn it Ratchet. But this game is fantastic. Don’t hesitate to pick up a copy!

Another Review of Final Fantasy X X2
Not even a single bit surprised at SE’s inner weebness or their obsession with girl dress changing , having played Lightning Returns, not that I’m complaining, unless they’re also planning on releasing a Noctis dress change simulator as Final Fantasy X X2

Final Fantasy X X2 will be remembered as the last Square Enix game with a decent story, the dialogue and writing are surprisingly bland and little in volume contrary to the general acceptance of it, the love story or their relationships are also not really fleshed out, however, overall the story is decent and masterfully presented with great soundtrack and astonishing visuals, movie like camera angles,
(albeit a bit more of a beautiful fairy tale than a coherent story that makes sense).
it will be a name that’s gonna be written in the tomb stone of Square Enix if ff15 fails, and a name forever be repeated along with the eulogy of the demise of JPRG,, as a reminder that for a RPG, no matter how ridiculous or unrealistic the setting would be, it must have a freaking good story.

Future generations will be looking up to this game as if viewing a historical wonder, Buy it and keep it in your library, so that you can show it to your future children one day. son, there used be this super hot genre called JRPG, and this is the one exemplar pinnacle of it. Shame, you will never be able to experience anything like it like we did back in the days, now that ff16-19 are more and more influenced by and look play like a skyrim, inquisition, witcher game.”
